Youth Summer Roller Practices

Our youth summer programs are designed to build skating fundamentals, hockey skills, and a love for the game in a supportive team environment.

Learn to Skate — Youth

Beginner

Designed for young players who are just starting out on skates. Coaches guide youth through balance, stopping, turning, and building confidence on the ice.

No prior skating experience required. Full protective gear must be worn.

Learn to Play Hockey

Beginner / Developing

An introduction to hockey fundamentals for young players. Covers stick handling, puck control, passing, shooting, and basic positional play.

Open to youth players of all beginner skill levels looking to develop their game.

Youth Development Practice

Intermediate

For youth players looking to elevate their skills beyond the basics. Drills focus on game-speed execution, skating efficiency, and team systems.

Players should have prior skating and basic hockey experience before enrolling.

Supplement your youth player's development with open ice Stick & Puck sessions.

Stick & Puck Schedule & Information

Youth players (14 & under) are welcome to attend Stick & Puck sessions accompanied by a participating adult. Check the schedule for upcoming session times at the Igloo Rec Center.
