Open Ice Sessions

Stick & Puck

Open ice sessions for EHA members to practice skating and puck-handling skills at their own pace — no organized games, just free skate and skill work.

Session Requirements & Rules

All participants must meet the minimum equipment requirements before stepping on the ice. Please review the rules before attending.

Minimum Equipment Required

  • Skates
  • Helmet
  • Gloves
  • Stick
  • Elbow pads (non-EHA members & players 14 & under)

Goalies

  • Goalies are allowed
  • Maximum 3 goalies per session
  • Full goalie equipment required

Coaching & Play Rules

  • EHA coaches allowed to coach 1–2 players
  • No practices permitted
  • No organized games allowed
  • Free skating and puck work only
Stick & Puck sessions are open to EHA members only. All participants must be properly equipped and follow rink etiquette at all times. Sessions may be cancelled due to ice availability — check the calendar for the latest schedule.
